March - A Marriage Celebration

Back in March our church hosted a Marriage Celebration Dinner.  It was a fun evening, which included a steak dinner, couples games, a photo booth, wedding cake for dessert, and great conversation with dear friends.  We were able to reminisce about marriage proposals, weddings, funny relationship stories, the adventures of marriage, and many sweet memories that had brought all of us to were we were today as a individual couples.  It was neat to hear other stories, share in the triumphs of marriage, and laugh together with people we love.  It was a great evening!  I thought I would share the fun pictures taken at the photo booth - enjoy!!  

Carico News Update

There has been plenty that has happened since my last post back in August.  I have not been good about blogging recently, but I post when I can, although I wish I was better.  To give you some insight into the last few months: I ran two more 5K-s, Nick harvested a bull during hunting season in September, we took a few beautiful Colorado hikes, I attended a super fun women's retreat host by my church, date nights, a trip to the Pagosa hot springs, we took a mission trip to Mexico, my birthday celebration, the holidays with family, plus a quick trip to Denver for a Van Gogh exhibit at the Denver Art Museum, and all the enjoyable nights in between.  We have had our fair share of fun and I have shared some photos to prove it.

The Big Carico News

So the Caricos are growing by two feet in 2013.  It’s our latest news and we are excited about the new adventure that lies ahead of us.  Oh and change that is to come…and yet I feel such immense joy about this new little baby that will make his / her debut July 29, 2013.  So it is with great excitement that I start a new tab on this blog: Baby C. Makes Three.  Join if you would like, this tab is just a place to record my excitement for what’s to come.
